This weeks blog challenge is Police Officer Careers. We had to research the career of a police officer. I researched about the pay that you get, career opportunities, training, what to do in the job, and must-haves like being having to be 17 years old.
I think my blog challenge this week is a Supernova!
On Tuesday a policewomen came in and her name was Sally. She told us a lot of stuff like how to get tool marks, what you have to wear if you are going into the crime scene, swab for blood, but mostly fingerprints.
Yesterday Fred the Moth went to Mrs Kennedy for the rotation and we did fingerprints. It was really fun because we were getting our own fingerprints. We learnt that there are three types of fingerprints, Loops, Whorls and Arches. Loops are the most common then whorls and arches are the least common. After I got all my fingerprints I had to write on what types of prints they are. I have 2 arches, 7 loops and 1 whorl.
