Case Closed

This morning Mrs Taaffe came in and we showed her the evidence that leads up to her, which was...

  • She came to school on the day of the crime.
  • She attaches an HDMI Cable to her device regularly because she's having trouble chrome casting.
  • She wears scrunchies.
  • Her fingerprints were everywear in the crime scene.
  • She had a cut in the holidays on her wright hand wrist.
  • She parked out by the office.

Then she confessed that she did it, her story was...

She came into school to drop some things off. She had deactivated the alarms in the office because she haddent indented on coming to Whetu. She was having trouble chrome casting so she decided to pop over to Whetu to borrow the HDMI Cable, but when she was grabbing the HDMI Cable she noticed there was a jar of chocolates and she didn't think anyone would notice if any were gone because it was the holidays. When she went to leave she couldn't open the door so she tryed again and the handle sliped out of her hand, then she cut her hand on the door frame. Then she finally opened the door and ran out. She stoped behind the bush for a while because she didn't know if the door shut behind her, Then carried on to her car out the front of the office.

It happened on the 10/10/20 around 12pm-1pm, in the Whetu Team.

I am really happy we solved the crime!!!

Letter of the Week

Today I did Letter R. 2 weeks ago I missed letter R so I went back and did it. I think the funniest bit is the rhyming words because I like my pictures.

I think my Letter R Letter of the Week is a Supernova!

Letter of the Week 6 T4

The letter this week was E. I really enjoyed doing it and I think that I presented it quite differently. When I was doing my rhyming words I ended up researching about what words are called when they sound the same but are spelt differently. I found out that Homonyms are words that sound alike but have different meanings. Homophones are a type of homonyms that also sound alike and have different meanings, but have different spellings. Heteronyms are a type of homograph that are also spelled the same and have different meanings, but sound different.

I think my Letter of the Week this week is a Supernova!

Grammer Cop

This is my Grammer Cop slides that I have done this week. I think I did a really good job. The hardest one was the second comma one but it wasn't too hard.

I think my Grammer Cop is a Supernova!

Athletics Reflection

Yesterday was our school athletics day and I competed in 60 metres, 100 metres, 200 metres, long jump and shot-put. I made it into the finals for 100 metres so I am happy about that.

My favourite event was the long jump because I find it easy and really fun. On my second jump, I accidentally stepped backwards so they marked from where I stepped but I still did well on my other jumps.

Lifting Fingerprints

Today for workshops we were with Mrs Kenndy and we are lifting our fingerprints. It was a lot of fun! I think my fingerprint is really cool. Here is my slide on all the steps to lift fingerprints.
